By approaching my educational journey through non-conventional beginnings of being dually enrolled at Southeastern University and Highlands College, I have learned that kindness, hard work, and dedication are necessary to being successful both academically and professionally. These skills aided me in pursuing my Bachelor of Arts at Auburn University, where I majored in Psychology and minored in Counseling. I have experience in team building, conflict resolution, and service. These experiences can be seen through my participation in on-campus organizations at Auburn University, volunteer work for local non-profits, my role as a research assistant in Auburn University's REDS Lab, and my completion of 400 hands-on practicum hours at Highlands College. My strongest skills are working well under pressure, being adaptable and flexible, and my desire to learn and grow continually. These skills are demonstrated through some of my life's accomplishments, my most recent being graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts from Auburn University. Someday I hope to be a Clinical Mental Health counselor who provides a welcoming environment where individuals feel comfortable and capable of collaboratively working through challenges. My goal in pursuing this career is to help individuals create and maintain a joyful and fulfilling life.
