In my current position as Clinical Specialist at Boston Scientific, I aid in device programming and testing during implantation and patient follow-up checks for spinal cord stimulator devices in over 10 sales accounts. A majority of my time in this role is spent traveling between pain management offices, operating rooms, and other hospital and business related settings. I have experience interacting and disseminating relevant information to patients across all backgrounds, anesthesiologist, pain management physicians, neurosurgeons, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other hospital staff. Prior to my start at Boston Scientific, I worked as a Cardiac Rhythm Management clinical specialist at Biotronik, and the United States Department of Veterans Affairs where I coordinated two sleep based research studies. I attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (Virginia Tech). My four years of schooling were dedicated to studies in cognitive and behavioral neuroscience with a strong statistical emphasis and research in adult and child trauma (Recovery Efforts After Adult & Child Trauma "REAACT").My time at Biotronik, the US Department of Veterans Affairs, Virginia Tech, and other schooling/extra-curricular endeavors have granted me skills in working with diverse and underrepresented populations, strong written and oral communication skills, data entry/processing, teamwork, adaptability, and a continual growth mindset.
