I wake up early mornings to help amazing Chinese students to learn English. I teach one-on-one classes to a variety of age students ranging from 4 to 14 years old. I adapt the lesson material to the student's individual needs and work to encourage students to speak fluently. Every 6th and 12th lesson in a unit is an assessment lesson. I create fun and educating rewards to engage students in the lesson. Each month I attend at least one teacher development workshop provided by the company.

This project was for the English Connect 3 curriculum used by BYU-I Worldwide online learning for English as a Second Language. I became proficient in editing and creating material for the education platform Learnosity. After editing material, I would update the data entry information.

I worked with ELL students to increase their level of English proficiency in speaking, writing, reading, listening, and study skills. Tutoring sessions included one-on-one instruction with individualized lessons or homework aid. I provided resources and study strategies for students. Each week required a career/ tutor developmental meeting.
