Remember that time when I thought life was all about capturing picturesque moments with a camera? Yeah, me neither! Fresh out of college, I dove headfirst into the world of photography, only to realise I had a hidden talent for turning pieces of wood into masterpieces. Carpentering, because why not?But then, a wild career change appeared! I transformed into a Frontend Developer, trading my sawdust-covered apron for lines of code. Currently, I'm proudly crafting digital experiences at Marmeto, where I've been busy working on stores for brands like Kohler, Borosil, Imagine (By Apple), Layers.in, Power Gummies, Redtag, and more.As a Shopify Developer, my primary focus was on implementing Shopify themes, creating custom functionality using Shopify's Liquid programming language, and integrating third-party applications and services for our clients. On a daily basis, I used to collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to understand client requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the Shopify platform.Just six months into my coding journey, I levelled up to Team Lead. In this role, I've donned the hat of a code reviewer, leading a squad of 10 developers, helping them hit project deadlines, providing tech wisdom, and making sure everyone's on the same page. Not only that, I'm the liaison between the tech and business realms, ensuring our projects are as seamless as a well-orchestrated symphony. I'm also the R&D specialist, experimenting with IoT devices, automations, and even concocting a custom Shopify theme for our team. Plus, I'm all about nurturing the growth of my fellow developers through 1:1 sessions and career mentorship.
