JOB PROFILE:•Take necessary steps to ensure that the stated objectives are achieved.•Develop, implement and maintain health, safety and environmental management systems for business unit/location in accordance with group policies and guidelines.•Implement HSE standards/expectations and facilitate location/site-specific health and safety management systems designed to reduce employee injuries and illnesses.•Ensure safety working conditions at work premises & Assist the Management in all HSE Risk management for all projects.•Participate in management programs to ensure achieving the set objectives wherever necessary.•Take necessary corrective actions on deviations to meet objectives.•Reporting of any incidents to the QHSE Manager and the Management Develop team coordination to achieve stated objectives.•Ensured that the test certifications are obtained and renewed in time.•Perform off-time surprise checks to ensure that the PPE usage is enforced. •Ensuring communication of steps including use of MSDS etc., taken to achieve objectives.•Responsible for day to day inspection & prepare periodical reports; ensure that HSE system keeps required standard (OSHAS18001:2007).•Implement a proper waste management system; housekeeping system in work places, accommodation & maintain social hygiene.•Ensure knowledge and practice of Safe Operational Method.•Defects prevention and elimination of non-conforming causes.•Ensure safety of colleagues, visitors and contractors.•Educate employees how to be alert on “exposure to toxic & hazardous substances” and to take precautions. •Compiled Safety Statistics on injuries, near-miss, and incidents to prepare the initial reports & recommend safe working practices wherever necessary.•Monitor the JSTI sessions.•Report the good and bad practices in weekly HSE meetings.•Tracking the status of close out reports on reported hazards.•Weekly and monthly inspection with senior managements.•Monitor the JSTI sessions
