PaaS is a self-service platform for hosting applications on OpenShift Container Platform. Our onboarding process is a set of guidelines intended to help application teams deploy an application through to Production with as little interference as possible. We intend for this process to be fully in control of our application teams.GUI based application where batch processes (DB2 & Sybase) systematically sort out the weekly billings received from other airlines and assist the Interline Accounting personnel with incoming OA billing audits. This application audits what DL was billed by carrier versus what DL should have been billed. Also, it has reject/Re-bill the billing details. This application is incorporated with an administration tool called Management GUI which maintain the auditor accesses. Also, it has batch assignment workflow to complete the batches on time.

All our applications are built by agile teams. We manage our business backlog using Rally AgileCentral. We use Gherkin based User Acceptance Test Driven Development model. OurDevelopment teams convert Gherkin using Cucumber, Selenium and Java step definitions. All codemust pass the ATDD before it is deployed into non-production environment. We are able to deployto prod on a bi-weekly basis.● Followed Agile Software Development Methodology and Test-Driven Development (TDD) to build the application iteratively and incrementally. Participated in scrum related activities and Daily Scrum Meetings. Deployed to prod on a bi-weekly basis.● Used various features from AngularJS like data binding, routing, custom filters and directives to meet various customized requirements. Resolved many challenging tasks while migrating by taking care of the sessions and creating stubs as per new environment. Other than RDMS we have also used NOSQL MONGODB for storing content as is.● Used log4j for logging. Generated POJO classes to map to the tables in the database using the JPA-Hibernate integration.● Used Jenkins to Continuous Integration Build Docker images and deploy on OpenShift (OSE).● Developed the DAO layer for the application using Spring, Hibernate and developed various business logics and reports using HQL and Hibernate criteria.Environment: Java 8, J2EE, IntelliJ, Eclipse, SOAP, Cucumber, Selenium, Spring boot, Hibernate3.0, JAX-RS with XML, JMS, Bootstrap, HTML5, React JS jQuery, CSS3, JavaScript, AngularJS, JUnit, MONGO DB, , Jenkins.
