As a biomedical engineer, I am passionate about applying engineering principles and techniques to solve healthcare problems and improve patient outcomes. I am currently pursuing my Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Florida, where I am expanding my knowledge and expertise in areas such as Biomechanics, Medical Robotics, Medical Device Design and Development, and Rehabilitation Engineering.I have recently completed a seven-month internship at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital and Research Centre, where I gained valuable hands-on experience in clinical research, data analysis, and medical device testing. I was involved in a project that aimed to develop a low-cost and portable ventilator for COVID-19 patients, and I contributed to the design, fabrication, and validation of the prototype. I also assisted in conducting experiments, collecting and processing data, and preparing reports and presentations. Through this internship, I enhanced my skills in Fusion 360, SOLIDWORKS, and Python, as well as my communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.My goal is to become a Ph.D. student in Biomedical Engineering and pursue cutting-edge research in the fields that interest me, such as Biomechanics and Medical Robotics. I am actively seeking research opportunities in the United States for the Fall of 2024, where I can apply my skills and knowledge, learn from experts, and contribute to advancements in healthcare technology. I am motivated by the potential of engineering to transform lives and make a positive impact on society.
