Design, Validation and Certification of Algorithms The work involved design of new encryption algorithm for satellite communication system and an appropriate key management scheme. The designed algorithm has to be submitted for review by an expert committee and we have to convince the board of the soundness and validity of our algorithms. We also designed semi-automatic key management scheme which involved public key encryption and successfully defended its incorporation.Development of Secure Communication Systems The work involved porting of algorithms on hardware and system testing at customer premises. The links used for secure communication involved both the bulk encryption and individual link encryption. These two had different requirement and yet the design has to be made to leverage hardware for both the systems.
