• Evaluated sample preparations of products such as heat exchangers, plastics, metals, and rubbers through analytical testing and failure analysis. •Interpreted failure analysis and compiled and presented investigation reports to management. •Conducted benchmarking of rubbers and plastics to assess opportunity of cost reduction through utilization of new materials without compromising quality. Key Highlights: •Utilized an SEM/EDS analysis machine to conduct root-cause analysis of a cross-section crack being formed at the braze joint on P-Tank Converters; this resulted in issue resolution through identifying a lack of magnesium at the braze joint.
