As a Sr. Administrative Associate for Aera Therapeutics, I supported the executive team in a fast-paced and dynamic biotechnology company. I managed complex schedules, assisted in an office move, hosted events, coordinated meetings, prepared documents and presentations, dealt with a multitude of vendors and handled travel arrangements and expenses.I have over 9 years of experience in providing administrative support in the hospital and health care industry, previously working at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute as an Administrative Specialist. There, I contributed to the organization's mission of advancing cancer research and care. There I supported a multitude of medical care workers and patients by scheduling, assisting the department and various administrative tasks.I graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a field of study in Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies, Public Health, and Concentration in Psychology. I have a strong interest in the intersection of health, science, and society, and I am passionate about improving health outcomes and access for diverse and underserved populations.I have developed multiple skills and competencies that enable me to perform my role effectively and efficiently, such as event management, marketing communications, manufacturing process improvement, Microsoft Word, and nonprofit organizations.
