Madison Abercrombie is a pharmacy student, in her first year of the Doctor of Pharmacy program at Nova Southeastern University's Barry and Judy Silverman College of Pharmacy (NSU B&J COP), passionate about enhancing patient care and ensuring the safe use of medications.Madison earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Arizona State University in 2023 and her Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Affairs from Nova Southeastern University in 2024. Madison currently serves as a First Year Liaison for the NSU Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy Student Chapter (AMCP).Madison currently serves as the Kappa Psi Pledge Class Historian.Her journey into the world of pharmacy began with a year of hands-on experience in a community pharmacy, which deepened her understanding and commitment to the field. This role taught her the vital importance of pharmacists as the last line of defense in patient care, ensuring medications are used safely and effectively.Madison believes pharmacists play a crucial role in healthcare, serving as the final checkpoint to safeguard patient health.
