I have worked as a Counsellor/ Psychotherapist for 17 years, I am MBACP Accredited, and am on the Voluntary Register of Therapists. My clinical experience covers varied settings from Young Peoples Counselling Service, NHS Substance Misuse Services, Delivering Group work on behalf of the Probation Service. Managing a Counselling Service in a 6th Form/ Adult Education College in inner London. I have worked in Adult Mental Health Day Services for Mind in Peterborough, where I delivered client centred interventions. I also had the role of Mental Health Trainer. I now work for freelance for Cambridgeshire & Peterborough YMCA Counselling Service as the Counselling Guidance Coordinator. I also have a Private Counselling Practice "Transitions Counselling Consultancy" (TCC) where I deliver a range of training packages on various issues pertaining to Transgender and Mental Health, I also consult to companies and other organisations on a range of trans and mental health issues. I am currently a trustee on the LGBT Network Commitee in Peterborough, and am Chair of the Trans Sub Commitee.My client practice is informed not only by my client work but also by my own journey and exploration of my own Gender Identity & being a human in the world.
