I prepared work papers, presented on several financial client processes to management, and worked daily in a fast-paced, client-focused team setting. Competing against over 2800 interns, my idea to revolutionize the recruitment process for underrepresented communities earned my 6-person team a spot in the finals in the KPMG Intern Innovation Competition.

I am the initial customer contact at Waterfront, communicating with existing and potential clients through phone calls and email campaigns. I design marketing materials targeting potential clients, maintain social media presence, work to develop SEO of the website by creating and editing blog content, and generate sales proposals to match client needs. I also oversee larger sales and marketing projects in an effort to boost profits and expand client base.

I co-lead the business department with the Internal Business Manager to sell advertisements, develop professional relationships with customers and university faculty, process payments, fundraise, and run the internal operations of the newspaper. I also manage the expanding Sales Team, training interns in selling advertisements to clients at the local and national level.
