My unique experiences in both my personal and professional endeavors have built valuable skills that I have and continue to grow throughout my career. With over 15 years of experience in the equine industry, I bring a wealth of invaluable knowledge and skills outside of directly working with animals. I have trained and coached hundreds of riders, which allowed me to use and develop my strong interpersonal skills to create exceptional client relationships. My years coaching honed my ability to educate and problem solve in an inviting manor. As a riding instructor, I actualized my ability to make high value sales while providing the client/customer with genuine guidance. I have always found it rewarding to help match someone to what they need to progress in their endeavors, whether that be a horse or product.In my current role as a Web Content Editor, I utilize these developed skills to plan, create, and execute marketing content using a variety of mediums. I work daily on written content whether writing from scratch or editing existing pieces using SEO reports to maximize their visibility and traffic. Our website and learning center features a wide range of photo and video content that is planned and produced in house. For video elements, I plan and perform all new educational and informative video. This has broadened my presentation skills to include understanding on-camera delivery as well as face to face. At my role with Sports Warehouse, I was promoted to Editor as the first step in my department's growth outside of California. My team operates out of the West Coast, which creates a balance of teamwork and independent self-management throughout my tasks. My goal is to continue growing all of these skills to bring the highest value to any role I have or may grow to in the future.
