Responsible for the marketing, recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding functions of the Riverboat Discovery and its affiliated companies. Coordinate and assist employee training and certification of employees as needed. Assist in employee counseling and collect important feedback from employees through surveys. Conduct general marketing for the companies using website and social media channels, internal customer databases, sponsorships, and community outreach. Work with outside advertising companies to promote products through televisions, radio, publications, maps, travel guides, and various other media. Work with vendors and ticket outlets around the state of Alaska to provide information and familiarization opportunities.Perform other duties as needed related to administration, accounting, and reservations. Maintain the demands of the job while simultaneously captaining Discovery III from May-September of 2021-present.
