Learning is life. The act of learning allows one to continually develop and grow no matter the career path chosen. I love being that resource for others. Teaching math has been one of the most rewarding careers in more ways than one. Finding the third way and thinking outside of the box to ensure learning for all has been a daily challenge but nonetheless a fun one. Throughout my career, I have been presented with many opportunities to coach fellow educators on research-based strategies to improve learning and effective implementation. Facilitating this learning has allowed me to grow not only as an educator but continues to open my mind to new perspectives. Recently, I rediscovered my love for fitness and have transferred those same skills from the classroom into a fitness studio. Through coaching, I have been able to motivate, encourage, and witness both personal and physical growth. Development of individuals is something I am passionate about and love being able to have my hand in different parts of molding and shaping participants.
