Hello, my name is Madison Boyd; I am a junior cybersecurity major on the computer science track with a minor in leadership studies. I have experience coding in the programming languages Java and HTML and I also have experience in web design and development.I am a 2022 Girl Scout Gold Award Recipient. My "Enhancing Multicultural Education" project aimed to diversify children's literature in local libraries. I am a self-published author of a children's "Contributions of Color" book. I also have created workshops educating students and educators on diversity, equity, and inclusion as well as topics such as implicit bias, stereotypes, and racism. I am interested in internships and externships in the cybersecurity, information technology, and computer science fields, and I am eager to learn new skills and techniques and gain more knowledge in those areas. After graduation, I am hoping to enter the Cybersecurity, IT, computer science, or consulting industry.
