“If you have the means to do so, use your passions to help others.” -MeI am currently a student at Arizona State University planning to graduate in December of 2017. I am pursuing a degree in interdisciplinary studies with a focus in communication and media analysis with a minor in marketing. Prior to attending ASU, I graduated from Paradise Valley Community College with high honors, receiving the presidential scholarship. Now, I am maintaining my position on the Dean’s list at ASU, striving to achieve the same goal.For an internship opportunity, I was most recently awarded a position with Not Vodka Water in Phoenix, Arizona. My job title is the Influencer coordinator for the company, where I find and manage a team of social media infuencers. Since starting in August of 2017, I have additionally taken the responsibility of social media/marketing campaign manager, launching our first-ever “Drink Pink” campaign for breast cancer awareness month. With minimal experience in the field, I am eager to learn on my leisure time, reading books and research papers to stay relevant in the ever-evolving field of marketing. Additionally, from my experience working in a retail boutique, I have obtained excellent customer service skills and the learned importance of putting the clients above all else. I am also a keen listener in understanding customer issues and engendering a solution to resolve such problems. Throughout my career, my goal is to bring a unique perspective into the marketing profession, and use my knowledge to help not-for-profit organizations succeed.
