Tend to and care for 40 horses at a therapeutic horseback riding facility. Engage with students, volunteers, faculty, and other barn staff following COVID-19 procedures. Work early mornings bringing horses in, feeding, and ensuring cleanliness in facility.

Directly supervise youth ages 12-20 who have committed offences in their community. Provide educational, supportive, and recreational services to at-risk youth who have been placed at facility by their counties. Work with licensed clinicians and probation officers to focus youth on clinical goals such as behavior management, victim-community awareness, thinking for a change, and other goals. Assist youth in day to day activities such as going to grade school, vocational school, community service, and credit recovery opportunities. Assist supervisors with intake and first contact paper work, as well as end of shift paper work. Work on both secure and unsecured units, male and female units, and detention unit.

Work with persons of varying mental and physical disabilities and assist them in equine-assisted activities and interventions. Help direct and supervise volunteers with horses and clients with the help of licensed Physical Therapists, Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists, Certified PATH International Instructors, and graduate assistants in the field of physical therapy and mental health counseling. Take care of and tend to horses and barn work.

Serving as a victim advocate for survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and other violent crimes. Services included: legal advocacy, hotline counselling via 24/7 hotline, child advocacy, outreach advocacy, housing/shelter advocacy. Served 480 hours over the course of three months, including PCAR and PCADV training hours.

Worked as a hostess, food runner, busser, server, assist in wedding and event planning/set-up, and pantry.

As a mentor, provide job training, independent living, physical activity, and nutritioneducation experiences to high school students with disabilities looking to make their transition into higher education.
