As a PATH Mentor at the University of Arizona Honors College, I have had the rewarding the experience of guiding and supporting a group of ten freshman honors students in their transition to college life. This role has strengthened my leadership and management skills through regular engagements with both fellow mentors and mentees. Throughout my role as a mentor, I inspired a group of ten students to become more involved with university life, encouraging them to step out of their comfort zones and connect with peers. I conducted weekly meetings with them to discuss various topics including resume workshops, interview skills, class registration advice, and mental health checks. Additionally, I participated in twice-weekly meetings with fellow mentors, focusing on leadership skills and management techniques to better serve our mentees.Overall, this role as a mentor allowed me to make a positive impact on the lives of new students, but also strengthened my own abilities in leadership, communication, and mentorship that I will be able to bring with me to my professional career and future opportunities.

As a Marketing and Entrepreneurship Intern at Eller iVenture, I had the unique opportunity to work remotely over the summer, engaging in weekly meetings to ensure effective collaboration and progress.Throughout my role as an intern, I was able to create a product and learn about the different avenues of marketing, sourcing, branding, and selling the product. To begin, I created and developed a positive messaging hoodie brand through utilizing my creativity and technical skills to design the product. Then, I implemented strategic marketing efforts to promote the hoodie brand. This allowed for an increase in brand awareness and online sales. I designed a website with my company name, Lovermoore, and managed the e-commerce platform. I applied my marketing skills to enhance sales performance and maximize profitability.This internship and overall experience allowed me to develop a strong foundation in product design, online marketing, and e-commerce management, while strengthening my ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.

As a Freshman Honorary Member of the Premier Club in the Eller College of Management, I was focused on attaining and honing essential skills in leadership, communication, analytics, and collaboration. This role involved active participation in collaborative activities such as in-depth case studies and case competitions. Throughout the case studies and competitions, I worked among five other students to solve complex problems that required strategic thinking, teamwork, and effective communication. I was also able to grow professionally through learning with real-world scenarios that I will be able to apply towards future challenges in my professional career.Throughout my role as a Freshman Honorary Member in Premier, I was provided a solid foundation in critical skills that contributed to my personal and professional growth.
