Howdy! I’m Madison Schmitz, a proud Texas A&M graduate with a degree that’s as big as my goals: a Bachelor’s in University Studies of Global Arts, Planning, Design, and Construction (say that five times fast!). I also minored in Urban & Regional Planning and Art & Architectural History because, why stop at one interest?As a Project & Process Manager, I thrive on tackling complex projects and finding creative ways to make processes smoother, faster, and better. Whether I’m crafting Standard Operating Procedures, coordinating teams, or digging into a Gantt chart, I love turning chaos into streamlined success.My journey began with a high school architecture internship, where I fell in love with the blend of creativity, precision, and teamwork that drives impactful projects. Since then, I’ve held leadership roles, managed teams, and learned to balance big-picture strategy with the nitty-gritty details that make it all work.During my time at Texas A&M’s Architecture Fabrication Lab, I gained invaluable experience managing projects and developing the systems that made the facility operate efficiently. I created processes to streamline project workflows, designed safety training programs that aligned with OSHA standards, and implemented organization systems to keep operations running smoothly. This role taught me how to balance precision and innovation, a skill I’ve carried forward in my career.Outside of work, I’m passionate about building the next generation of women leaders. As a board member for Girls on the Run DFW, I help organize community events like our annual 5K to empower young girls through physical activity and mentorship. I believe in equipping girls with the confidence, resilience, and skills they need to chase their dreams, break barriers, and lead with purpose.While I’m proud of the skills I’ve developed, I know there’s always room to grow.
