From growing up in the Seattle area, I ended up loving the Tucson, AZ area working as a Manufacturing Engineer at a start-up company called TuSimple. My back ground is a Mechanical Engineer from the University of Arizona and Manufacturing/Project Engineering at Raytheon Technologies. From my background with Electro-optics and Circuit Card Assemblies, to Robotics and wireless charging, I really see my focus in the Automation industry with a passion for sustainability. With the skills I have as a Manufacturing Engineer, I have gained the skill of being confident in conflict alignment, critical thinking, and problem solving in electro-optics, sensors, and electronics in an assembly line and R&D environment. I am able to translate a high stress environment to create space for strategic thoughts for a company and team to keep integrity of the hardware, cost reduction, and solutions to resolving an issue. At times, this ends up driving me to learn the technical details of hardware to critically think and solve with the best solution in mind. This is a skill I have liked in manufacturing & hardware teams and would like to still continue to use along my career.Currently I lead implementing 3DEXPERIENCE for Manufacturing since I want to learn the product lifecycle of hardware for better traceability within a company. With a small team a TuSimple, I am able to develop and define engineering requirements while building Autonomous trucks. This shows I can be flexible in taking on more responsibilities outside of my scope to better help a team reach a common goal. Also, this gives me a taste of what I want to develop into as a Design Engineer. Some achievements outside of work which have translated significantly to my discipline and my work ethic comes from the sport of Archery. I made the top 16 women in the united states for the Olympics in 2012 and 2016 and have been a national champion and on national teams a few times throughout my Archery Career. This is a direct integration into my work as I seek detail in everything I do to produce a high level of critical thinking and problem solving to maintain ethical work for myself and with in a team.Things I like to do on my free time include mountain biking, hiking, fishing, skiing, mushroom hunting, and really good food to replenish the fun activities. I think it is very important to be able to have a work life balance to be able to continuously be creative and have a high level of thinking power in order to perform well at my career and on the team I am working with.
Listed skills include Solidworks, Matlab, Microsoft Visual Studio C++, Google Docs, and 10 others.
