Hello, I am Madison Gearhart. I graduated in May 2022 from Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Exceptional Child Mild/Moderate and Elementary Education. Southeast Missouri State University has allowed me to participate in practicums throughout the pandemic. I have been placed in a 1st-grade general education classroom, a high school functional special education classroom, and a 5th-6th grade resource special education classroom and pushing in for class within a class. I have been a substitute teacher since 2019, which has allowed me to have additional experience in general education and special education classrooms. I teach resource special education in 5th and 6th grade at Blue Eye Middle School in Blue Eye, Missouri.
