I served as a group leader for a student group (consisting of 10 students). While serving the group, I monitored instructor-led class sessions/study halls and assisted students with classwork. I planned and conducted activities to promote unity within the group and allow an outlet for the students to express themselves. I also helped a group of students compete in a facility-judged research competition, which ultimately resulted in the winning second place and a monetary stipend.
