I interact with research faculty and graduate students to design, manufacture, and assemble test equipment and stands for research. • Conducted an advanced assessment of 60 corrosion areas below flag thickness found on a tower, which included using ASME and API codes to minimize mechanical work by 98%, collaborating with other engineering disciplines such as Materials and Inspection, and constructing a model to structurally analyze the tower skirt in hurricane conditions.• Facilitated a replacement of a safety critical valve with steam jacket by creating a detailed engineering package, communicating with the vendor and Mechanical team, and collaborating with other engineers.• Identified the proper material properties and flange ratings for over 700 lines and carefully documented the updates.• Collaborated with vendor to create customized engineered clamp for heat exchanger nozzles, saving $170,000 as an alternative to replacing heat exchanger.• Supported operation of four units as a Mechanical Contact Engineer, responsible for all fixed equipment and responded to unit break-ins
