I am a theatre and performance maker, dramaturg, researcher, and acting teacher. My research areas include: contemporary theatre and dance, intersectional practices in art making and art institutions, feminism, hope, utopia, pedagogy, and queer theory.I am currently based in Utrecht, Netherlands where I run Utopia Syndicate, a theatre collective I founded with Tery Žeželj. We focus on immersive and experiential theatre that cultivates hope and speculates better futures. Before moving to Europe, I founded Hey Lady, a feminist theatre company with Leni Krivy in Montreal. We created work in Montreal, QC, Charlottetown PEI, and Toronto, ON. In Ottawa I co-founded and ran Carleton Musical Theatre Society with Chris Santillán.
