As a committee member for The Big Event, I helped to lead six other staff assistants in fulfilling their position to best serve the organization. I also helped to plan many events for the organization as I was a part of the Public Relations committee. On the day of The Big Event, I helped to organize an exhibit that showed everyone the history of the organization.

The Big Event is the largest student run organization at Texas A&M. The Big Event works closely to connect students and residents of the Bryan/College Station area to fulfill any physical needs they may have, such as raking leaves, pulling weeds, and laying mulch. As a staff assistant, I worked under a committee member to go out and meet 20 residents to figure out what they would need to have done on the day of The Big Event.

I worked very closely with customers to sell products and assist them in helping them find what they were looking for. I also worked to restock and clean the store.
