Madison is currently employed for Calibrate as a Member Success Specialist.Educational and previous employment history:Madison graduated Cum Laude from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a B.A. in Health Communication and minor in Public Health in December 2019. She has goals of growing within Healthcare Administration. She has a strong passion for health, wellness, advocacy, and bettering the healthcare system and community. Post graduation she was employed with OrthoCarolina where she took on administrative and patient satisfaction roles further enhancing her communication skills. During her time at OrthoCarolina, Madison became a member and helped to facilitate the company's Diversity and Inclusion Committee where she served as a trusted advisor and strategic counselor to support upper management and board leaders, developed and implemented communication strategies for company wide correspondence, conducted innovative and culturally appropriate approaches enhancing employee inclusion, engagement and satisfaction, as well as helped to implement company wide surveys and training to cultivate a more equitable and inclusive work environmentDuring the course of her education, Madison completed a Communication and Marketing Internship for the American Heart Association Charlotte, NC location, utilizing her Health Communication and Public Health background to assist in promoting and enhancing AHA messages and objectives through social media, events, and other advocacy outlets. Her interests and involvements are all health and community advocacy related, as health, fitness, and advocacy are key passions of her's. Madison has goals of improving communication across fields as well as making the workplace and community more diverse, fluid, and inclusive. Having spent most of her childhood moving to different states, Madison has developed an instinctual sense of adaptability as well as having no fear of change. Growing up with this background has allowed her to experience a wide variety of perspectives, making her able to relate and empathize with individuals from backgrounds and cultures much different from her own.
