In this role, I lead marketing for American Express Global Business Travel's travel network, GBT Partner Solutions (GPS). GPS is a customized way for travel agencies and independent advisors to multiply their value to clients. My role includes managing our marketing strategy to build foundational marketing assets, cultivating a community for both agencies in GBTNetwork and advisors in OvationNetwork, providing members with the resources to help grow their businesses, and equipping the GPS sales team with resources and assets to sell to prospective members.

As the Digital Marketing Specialist at Gant Travel, I primarily managed the social media accounts for Gant Travel, Gant Friends and Family, Trip Circuit, and HuddleLabs. My social media responsibilities included keeping the blog up to date with airline updates, COVID restrictions, and other travel-related news, taking/choosing photos, editing photos, creating videos for all of our platforms, and interacting with our followers.

Destin/Fort Walton Beach, Florida Area

As the Digital Marketing Director at Five Star Properties, I got to work in a variety of different areas. Primarily, I wrote blogs for all our locations' websites which includes Destin/30A, Hilton Head, and Breckenridge. Additionally, I wrote blogs for Five Star Properties Real Estate and our sister company, Bliss Beach Rentals. Aside from blogs, I also ran the social media accounts for Five Star and Old 98 Destin, which is our beach cam company/ apparel line. My social media responsibilities included taking photos, editing photos, filming Instagram and Facebook live videos, and interacting with our followers.In addition to digital work, I also wrote all the articles and written content in our annual magazine, The Five Star Review. Our 2020 annual magazine received two Gold Local ADDY Awards for Magazine Design and Catalog.

As EIC at Troy University Odyssey, I was responsible for managing a team of writers as well as writing and editing weekly content. In just the first six months as EIC, my team reached over a million page views.

Southeastern Wi

As a community recruiter, I started two new Odyssey communities in southeastern WI. In total, I recruited over 30 new writers for the platform. As a Community Recruiter, I read writing submissions and interviewed countless applicants to find the best writers in the community. I also was tasked with hiring and training an Editor in Chief and the Contributing Editors of each Community.

At Therma-Stor I worked as a Marketing and Social Media intern. I helped create social media posts for their brands. I also monitored their competitors' social media platforms and researched how Therma-Stor could improve their social media accounts. I also conducted market research on new areas that the company was looking into. Additionally, because I have a background in writing and editing, I helped edit the blog posts on each of their brands' websites and helped improve their SEO ratings.
