When it comes to the agriculture field, I am always hungry for knowledge and eager to learn about the industry. As I pursued Agriculture Leadership, Education, and Communication at Texas A&M University-Commerce, I have had numerous opportunities that have allowed me to strengthen my mind within a variety of topics of agriculture. I have gained experiences through roles as a current recruitment intern at Seaboard Foods, a previous Texas Miss Agriculture Advocacy Ambassador, along with a variety of organization engagements and leadership roles. My family, peers and professors have described me as an outgoing leader who always manages to stay positive. With my willingness to reach out to others in order to learn, I am always up for a challenge that keeps me thinking and puts me to work. I strive to return the favor of challenging those that are equivalently hungry for knowledge, just as I am. I have hopes of achieving my Maters and Doctorate one day, but until then, I have a professional career as a high school agriculture and floral design educator. Although I have much to learn about the everchanging world of agriculture, I have years of experience in creating impactful change, leading influentially, and being a team player that is strong in communicating, organization, and effectively working.
