I provide individual counseling with a focus on life transitions, relationship issues, grief, trauma, and anxiety. I work to make a safe, comfortable space for the people I work with where we can talk through the problems of life while also fully acknowledging your strengths and successes.I currently provide services for those with the following payors: -Quartz -Dean Health Plan -GHC -WEA Trust -The Alliance -UMR -Private pay -Various Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) including FEI and HealthAdvocate

Sole provider for daytime intensive outpatient treatment program for individuals with AODA and co-occurring mental health diagnoses. Treatment consisted of a 6-week group as well as weekly individual therapy.Facilitated group sessions 4 hrs/day, 4 days/week.Developed curriculum for six-week psychoeducational and therapeutic IOP program.Engaged in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, aftercare planning, and documentation.

I provided advocacy and individual counseling to adult clients. I also facilitated support groups related to sexual assault and domestic violence. Outreach and presentations were part of this role as well.

I provided advocacy and short term counseling to victims/survivors of sexual violence and those who support victims/survivors. I specifically worked on Madison College and Edgewood College campuses with students, staff, and faculty.

As part of my social work education through the University of Wisconsin - Madison and the School of Social Work's Masters Program, I have the opportunity to provide psychotherapy and counseling services in a private practice setting. Beginning September 2015, I am available to provide these services at no charge through the 2015-2016 academic year.

At ARC I was able to provide case management services to women with AODA issues who were in the Dane County Drug Court Program. I also attended weekly court sessions. Through case management session, I oversaw clients' abilities to meet the requirements of the program as well as brokered necessary services. In addition, I co-led a Cognitive Interventions Group with another intern; this provided me with experience running groups and providing psychoeducation.

I worked as a paraeducator with high school students who have severe and profound developmental disabilities. I worked one-on-one with students individually and in groups. I also worked as part of a larger classroom, so I gained both independent and team experiences at this position.
