Growing up in suburban Indianapolis, I found a love for animals at an early age. This led me to convince my parents to join 4-H at the age of 9. Showing llamas and taking care of them every day after school provided me a brief taste of agriculture that I wanted to dig further into. When it came the time to decide my college destination, I didn't have to look further than the flagship land grant university in Purdue to study Animal Sciences.While at Purdue, I have enjoyed classes learning about a variety of topics in agriculture, from farm management to animal reproductive physiology. I have worked hard to develop my professional skills by volunteering my time from teaching children about agriculture on Tuesday afternoons to leading 4-H as a leader. I have spent summers working at a local vet clinic and finished this past summer working in Louisville for JBS. There, I collaborated with upper management to achieve production objectives to ensure the best product and service for the customer and maintain a relationship of trust with suppliers.I have skills in public speaking, sales, time management, and goal setting.I am hoping to further my career seeking a job in the agriculture industry
