Every year in September I volunteered at the Walk to End Alzheimer's in my town. I helped set up, tear down, and even though its been 2 years since I volunteered I still advocate year round for funding for this organization.

I was a live in home health aid for my grandpa on a freelance and volunteer basis during the time my grandpa had Alzheimer's disease until he passed in 2017. I would stay awake with him at night while he suffered from sundown syndrome, while my grandma slept. I'd administer morning and nightly insulin with meals and feed and supervise safety in the absence of my grandmother.
