Hi, I'm Maddy and I’m currently a Mechanical Engineering major at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. While studying I am also a member of the Delta Gamma fraternity, where I make life-long bonds with other students and participate in philanthropy events to help benefit organizations like Service for Sight. I am also an active member of a few clubs on campus like CAPED (an amusement park engineers and designer club), Cal Poly Robotics Club, and Cal Poly Archery Club. Before college, I graduated from California High School with a 4.3 GPA. Over my High School career, I had my academic focus on engineering, taking advanced classes in Math, Physics, and Computer Science. I have taken classes to learn Python and create programs using a Raspberry Pi.During my Senior year, I started an internship with the City of San Ramon's Civil Engineering Department. I learned all about architectural maps and how to use GIS and ArcMapsWhile maintaining my academics, I was also a shift leader at my local Starbucks. There I have created amazing bonds with both customers and staff while working hard to provide exceptional customer service. I have memorized how to make over one hundred menu items, including seasonal and limited editions. During my free time, you can find me playing softball with my friends and teammates.
