Graduate teaching assistant for Environmental Studies: Humans and the Ecological Environment. Responsible for being a point person for the undergraduate teaching assistants, students, as well as the professor. Also responsible for holding weekly office hours, planning and leading field trips for undergraduate teaching assistants and students, grading various assignments, proctoring exams, and working closely with the professor.

Researcher for the USDA grant funded Farm to School pilot program in Broome and Tioga counties: “Growing a Farm to School Program to Build Student Engagement and Increase Access to Local Produce Within Schools and Communities.”

Intern for the conservation division of the natural resources and wildlife office. Participate in county-wide projects throughout the summer at multiple county parks. Focus on aquatic and terrestrial turtle population surveys via water traps and radio telemetry. Additional projects include invasive management, trail mapping, bluebird monitoring, odonate population survey, and herbaceous vegetation surveys.

Teaching assistant for Humans and the Ecological Environment (~240 person lecture). This is a core course for Environmental Studies/Science students, as well as a popular course for Gen-Ed credit. I am responsible for holding office hours, assisting students with assignments, leading field trips, and assisting the professor and graduate teaching assistants as needed.

Assist students with residential life processes after business hours, such as lockouts and rekeys. Oversee the office after professional staff leave. Knowledgeable about campus wide residential life policies in order to properly direct and assist students and other staff members, via in person, phone calls, or emails. Have additional knowledge specific to each (6) individual community.

Work in the Central Office which oversees all Residential Life communities and operations. Frontline for employees and students that visit or call the office; assist with office tasks and aid senior employees with housing projects, work directly with students applying for on-campus housing.

Family-owned marketplace, olive oil and vinegar taproom, and coffee bar. Responsible for opening and closing duties of the shop, assisting customers with product questions and custom orders, making coffee and tea drinks, handling cash and running the register, and more.

Intern at non-profit organization concentrating in ecology, conservation, and sustainability. Field work specializing in native plants, invasive species management, land surveying, grounds management, and education.

Section leader: in charge of ordering product, creating displays, and keeping a neat section; Led and trained other crew members; Worked a register and handled money; Communicated with customers and coworkers to foster an enjoyable shopping experience.
