As a Music Therapist, I have thrived in my field. I am incredibly dedicated, organized, and dependable. I have created and enhanced programs, developed application processes, and sought out personal and professional development. Collaboration with other disciplines is very important to me. My clinical experience ranges among populations, but I am most passionate about working with the pediatric medical population. I am very passionate about providing support to those experiencing stressful and traumatic events as well as enhancing my own ability to do so.As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I have begun my career focusing on grief and bereavement and pediatric palliative care and hospice. I began my mental health advocacy journey in undergrad at Berklee College of Music and continue to utilize music in my healing work professionally and personally. I strive to inform and empower people to take the time to care for themselves and to explore different tools and techniques that work for them. I operate from a person-centered and family-focused approach and am continuing to expand my skills as I work toward licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist.I have served children with special needs, individuals residing in a nursing home, individuals and groups receiving services from a woman’s shelter, patients admitted to a psychiatric hospital, individuals and groups seeking grief counseling services regarding the loss of a loved one receiving hospice services, individuals seeking ongoing counseling support, and pediatric medical patients and families in the hospital and in the home. Some specific populations I have worked in include: pediatric palliative care and hospice, PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), CTICU (Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit), CVAcute (Cardiovascular Acute), Inpatient Rehabilitation, Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT), and the general inpatient floors.
