● Supervise and mentor 35+ freshman residents and serve two co-ed residence halls totaling approximately 300 students● Work alongside 7 other resident assistants and 1 resident director to effectively manage two buildings● Assist in training the first-year RAs, mentor them as to how to conduct a duty round, call theMiami University Police Department or emergency maintenance, deal with difficult resident situations, write Incident Reports and offer advice throughout the academic year● Act as a “Behind Closed Doors” actor to train new RAs to handle difficult situations such as alcohol and drug use, suicidal ideation, anti-diversity and inclusion initiatives, depression, and sexual assault● Hold semesterly and as-needed one-on-one meetings with students to discuss personal and academic goals, and concerns, and address questions about the school year● Conduct duty shifts consisting of rounds of two dorms, enforcing policies, managing the duty phone, crisis management, hosting visibility/drop-in hours for residents, and communicating with my supervisor and coworkers on an as-needed basis● Write detailed Incident Reports regarding any incident that happens in the building, and forward them to my supervisor, the director of residence life, and any other appropriate personnel● Respond to crises and enforce campus university policies working alongside university administration and campus police● Plan and prepare monthly bulletin boards respective to the 5 pillars of the Office of Residence Life● Brainstorm, plan, and host corridor, all-hall, and LLC programs; submit program proposals and program reflections as appropriate● Manage a corridor group-me group chat to reach out about concerns, hall events, campus emergencies, and maintenance issues

● Greet customers with a smile as they enter the establishment, locate items that they may be searching for● Educate customers on local bird species' nutritional needs, including seasonal needs● Engage with customers to create an inviting atmosphere for local bird species and find solutions for uninvited animals in their yard● Answer the store phone, call other store locations to check on inventory● Restock and rotate shelves, complete returns, bag birdseed, and assist customers● Thoroughly clean the store after-hours

As a Room Tech, I pre-load and prep the patients for Doctors to see. In addition, I assist the doctor in the exam as well as aid in drawing any labs, administering vaccines and preparing medication for the patient.
