While the Project Management position she was originally interested in was not available I encouraged her to accept a position within Supply Chain which would expose her to new, business critical skills and diversify her job experience. She accepted the role and as we both "hail" from UofM Engineering I was assigned to be her mentor. We met bi-weekly for over the course of her 6 month co-op. In her position Madison successfully demand planned 2 categories by analyzing distribution changes, POS and shipment shifts, and adjusting forecasts appropriately. She developed strong relationships with her commercial team and was well liked by many cross functional business partners on Neutrogena's campus. She went above and beyond by taking on additional assignments of increasing responsibility and lived into the J&J Credo by joining the planning team for community initiatives like Movember. I'm please to share that today I learned her manager gave her a score of “Exceeds” in both Results and Leadership! An exceptional accomplishment in a challenging role. Madison has a bright future ahead and I look forward to watching her career continue to blossom."
