Work collaboratively with members of the education, marketing, and group sales teams in the creation, marketing, coordination, and facilitation of the National Constitution Center’s education programs. Develop and share innovative classroom learning materials, lead the development of national civic holiday celebrations, and deliver content to the Center’s local, state, and national audiences. Develop and maintain positive relationships with national civic education organizations, educators, and students.

Work directly with learners of all backgrounds in a dynamic museum setting, both in person and virtually, to translate complex historical information into engaging and accessible concepts. Teach and share stories of the Constitution, U.S. History, and how these histories translate to the present. Utilize the Center’s exhibits to engage in civil dialogue relating to complex themes and ensure all visitors have a world class, inclusive museum experience.

Provide exceptional visitor experience for the Center’s audiences in alignment with customer services best practices. Assist with the development of museum programming as needed and assigned. Participate in special events for the Center, including Liberty Medal, Wawa Welcome America, America’s Town Hall, and annual naturalization ceremonies.

Lead field trip groups throughout historic Philadelphia, highlighting and interpreting national historic landmarks including, Independence Hall, the Betsy Ross House, and Arch Street Meeting House. Greet and welcome school groups upon arrival and ensure safety of all field trip participants throughout the day.

Orient visitors to Philosophical Hall, the Society’s historic headquarters, located on Independence Square and the site of the exhibition gallery: Mapping a Nation. Assist with public programs, educating guests about feature exhibitions. Represent the Society at various collaborative events throughout the city’s historic district.

Fostered student academic success through use of innovative teaching tools, personalized tutoring, and game-based learning to Philadelphia youth residents from underserved communities. Communicate student progress with parents and teachers to implement improvement strategies using student performance evaluations, and tailored lesson plans.
