With a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, I feel prepared to have a lasting and positive impact within my own community by building health programs and advocating for better health outcomes and resources provided to individuals whom I will work with. I am driven by building connections with people whether that is with co-workers, patients/clients, people within the community, community organizations, and health providers. One year from now I would like to be in a Patient Care Coordinator position in a hospital setting working with patients because it would give me the opportunity to use the skills I’ve gained from my college career advocating, program planning, being a health educator, and a resource for patients who don’t know what is available to them.
