I am a Haslam College of Business junior at the University of Tennessee. I’m working towards a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Accounting and Business Analytics with collaterals in Finance and International Business. I’ve always enjoyed learning new things, and have exceptional time management skills. I like strategically planning when I’ll complete my assignments and aim to complete them before the due date. This skill allows me to balance academics, work, and extracurricular activities. Building relationships is another strength of mine. Through my job at CycleBar, I make new riders feel welcomed and comfortable by getting to know them and their personal goals. I also enjoy collaborating with my peers and making everyone feel included in group settings. I am a very self-motivated person. I tend to surround myself with people who will push me to become a better person and support my goals. My career goal is to work in the accounting field. I have always been drawn toward business and accounting particularly stuck out to me because of its important role in the business world. Accountants problem-solve, analyze financial data, and build relationships with clients to guide them while making strategic business decisions. Accountants are the backbone of business and something that excites me about the field is the opportunities it brings. After graduation, I intend to get my Master of Accountancy and eventually, my CPA. I strive to work for a company that supports me and pushes me to grow in this rapidly changing environment.
