This role is responsible for overseeing a variety of child-focused programs, including * Afterschool Program serving over 14 sites* All-Day Summer Camp* Two Literacy-Focused Summer Programs* A Membership-Based Child Care ProgramFor these programs, responsible for oversight and management the day-to-day operations of all child development programs. Leads and supports a team of educators and staff across multiple sites. Ensures program goals are met and that programs aligned with organizational standards. Fosters a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children. Manages budgets, schedules, and resources for each program. Collaborates with stakeholders to promote growth and community engagement.

The role of Aquatics Director entails being responsible for all functions and programming related to Aquatics for the Anderson Area YMCA. I schedule and manage a staff of 50+ Lifeguards, Swim Lesson Instructors, Swim Team Coaches, and Water Fitness Instructors. The Aquatics Director is also responsible for general scheduling of the pool and pool related activities, and leveraging the pool usage in way that best serves the community and facility, i.e. balancing lap swimming with swim team, swim lessons, and other general usages. The Aquatics Director also plans and budgets for the entire Aquatics Department, participates in the day to day operations of the pool (lifeguarding, teaching, etc.), is responsible for maintenance and care of the pools, and is involved in community outreach in order to promote swim lessons and safe swimming to the community. In this role, I have created a program called Water Safety Week which provides free water safety instruction to local children in our community, as well as successfully promoted the Everybody Swim! program in collaboration with the United Way of Anderson County. Additionally, the Aquatics Director is involved in the promotion and marketing of the Aquatics programs to our members and community, and being a liaison between those groups and the Aquatics Department.

In this position, I was responsible for multiple marketing functions, including preparing copy and layout for printed materials, brochures, mailings, and newsletters, enhancing functionality and appearance of the website, managing the YMCA's presence and advertising on social media platforms, developing better processes to communicate with membership and program participants, and work with various departments to promote their activities, including membership, member engagement, and fund development.

At the YMCA, I am not only responsible for taking memberships and greeting customers, but being knowledgeable on all programs of the YMCA and being an effective member of the YMCA team and brand. I assist in marketing and selling memberships, giving tours of the facilities, and performing administrative tasks to aid in effective business performance. I am also required to be knowledgeable about every facet of the YMCA, from its operations and daily procedures, to its various programs and opportunities for members and nonmembers alike.

At Callaham Orchards, I serve several functions. During the summer, I work in the farm store selling our seasonal produce. During the summer, I also coordinate sales at the YMCA as well as at the Farmers Market, and am responsible for transportation and sales. In the Spring and Fall, I also lead field trips to the farm, which includes leading school groups around our farm and educating them on the day to day operations of the farm.

At McCoy-Wright Realty, Inc., I fulfilled all marketing duties for the company. This included posting listings onto our website, as well as commercial websites for public viewing, and following listing procedures to make sure we had all relevant information in reference to the listings. I also aided in reaching out to customers and new contacts to grow our business, through newspaper advertisements, email blasts, brochures, personalized letters, and flyers. In this position, I was responsible for creating the product as well as facilitate its disbursement, and keep things running around the business as smoothly as possible.
