I am a law enforcement officer and Commissioned Officer in the Army National Guard.I currently work as a Police Officer for the City of Longmont, Colorado Department of Public Safety.I previously worked as a Police Officer for the Fargo Police Department from May 2019 - December 2021.I have served in the Army National Guard since December 2015 in the position of Military Police. I began my military career as an enlisted Soldier, and then completed four years of leadership training through the Army Reserve Officer Training Corps at the University of North Dakota. I Commissioned as a Lieutenant in May 2019 and have had the opportunity to lead a platoon during large scale Civil Disturbance Missions in Minneapolis, MN in May and June 2020. I currently hold the rank of First Lieutenant and serve as a Platoon Leader.Other training I have completed includes Crisis Intervention Teams Training, a Forensic and Biometric Internship at the National Forensic Science Technology Center, and a three week Cultural Understanding and Leadership Course in Burkina Faso, Africa.My experiences as a police officer and a leader of Soldiers in the Army National Guard give me a diverse level of understanding in interacting with people, building positive relationships, and providing leadership.
