•One out of the top 36 students admitted to the program through an intensive application •The Cyvia and Melvyn Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship is ranked in the top 10 on the list of Top 25 Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Programs in the U.S. since 2007 (No. 1 in 2008, 2010 and 2011)•In the process of completing a rigorous academic curriculum that teaches students about how to raise capital for a business, understand balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, discuss current capital acquisitions options, approach a capital market source, corporate form, audited financial statements, term sheet preparation, hiring attorneys, distribution strategies, internet economics, business modeling, lean startup canvas, venture capital deals, and financial ratios•Raised over $150,000 at Wolffest for student scholarships. Every spring, the Wolff Center students host an annual celebration in which teams compete to create successful pop-up restaurants operating in the center of campus. Our team successfully sought out sponsors, developed a marketing strategy, and executed a positive profit business within a four-month time frame. Every element of this event teaches us how to run a business from a real-world perspective•Negotiated a multi-million dollar mock term sheet in a venture capitalist simulation at Porter & Hedges. Attorneys and season business executives in the banking, finance, corporate, and venture capital fields coached the teams on navigating this deal
