Assists with pulmonary research at The Airways and Exercise Physiology Laboratory at UCLA's Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care under the supervision of Principal Investigators, Dr. Igor Barjaktarevic and Dr. Russell Buhr. Collects vital signs, gathers biological samples, records patient medical history, and administers pulmonary function tests. Assembles research kits, schedules patient visits, and inputs lab orders through CareConnect (EPIC). Conducts follow-up questionnaires and screening calls for patients in various pulmonary clinical studies regarding Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency, HIV, and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

Shadows physicians weekly at UCLA's Ronald Reagan Medical Center with quarterly rotations through various specialties. Presents quarterly case study presentations to further examine complex medical cases and observations.

Plans large-scale events for 140+ members aimed to cultivate memorable experiences and meaningful relationships among members. Created “Sisterhood Sundays”, weekly excursions and activities that provide opportunities for members to explore the local Los Angeles community together.

Cultivates volunteer opportunities and fundraisers for Kappa Delta Sorority’s national philanthropy, Prevent Child Abuse America, and the Alpha Iota chapter’s local philanthropy, KidSave, to support children battling domestic violence. Facilitates partnership with the Girl Scouts of America to promote confidence and support higher education for young girls across Los Angeles.

Collaborates alongside fellow members of the Executive Board to govern the American Cancer Society on Campus at UCLA, the #1 Collegiate Fundraising Event in the US. Oversees the entertainment, logistics, sponsorship and hospitality committees and assists with planning events, applying for grants, and fostering relationships with local businesses. Works closely with UCLA Recreation to coordinate and manage our 24-hour fundraising festival, Relay for Life. Raised over $194,000 for the American Cancer Society in the 2023-2024 academic year.

Oversaw finances and operations for all American Cancer Society events at UCLA. Met regularly with UCLA finance directors and secured over $20,000 in grants to fund club events, fundraisers, and student-led cancer advocacy initiatives. Raised $190,000 in donations for the American Cancer Society in 2023.

Fostered relationships with cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers across the Greater Los Angeles area.

Compiled a database of prospective and retrospective research findings regarding neoadjuvant and adjuvant breast cancer treatments. Participated in weekly data entry, analysis, and literature review with a team of graduate and undergraduate students. Collaborated with fellow interns to present a case study regarding efficacy of the Adjuvant Fluorouracil, Epirubicin, and Cyclophosphamide (FEC) chemotherapy regimen on breast cancer.

Assisted with media coverage and marketing campaigns for five product launches and presented weekly reports on social media KPIs. Led product education efforts through daily engagement on company social media platforms. Provided customer service and assistance through management of company email inboxes. Assisted with seeding 200+ influencers for product publicity, exclusive events, and gifting opportunities. Analyzed the markets of seven potential products by examining current competitors and compiling consumer feedback.
