My name is Madison Conner, and I am a third-year Business student in W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Upon graduation (2024), I will have a Bachelors in Digital and Integrated Marketing Communications. Ever since I was a little girl, I have always admired women in business and constantly envisioned myself working as a businesswoman when I grew up. I started to develop a passion for art and the world of creativity at an early age. I was thrilled to find out that I could incorporate two of my passions into my future career. As I learn more about marketing, I have particularly enjoyed brand content creation, event planning and graphic design. Ideally, I want to work for a marketing agency that specializes in music festivals. However, I am open to any work as I am eager to learn all there is in marketing. I was born and raised in a small town of 800 people in Darby, Montana. I believe growing up in such a rural place made myself even more curious about different cultures leading me to develop a love for traveling. During my teenage years, I was able to spend a great amount of time traveling Europe. I was lucky enough to visit Switzerland, Italy, France and Spain. Visiting these places provided me with new perspectives that will be beneficial in all aspects of my life. After graduating high school, I decided to ditch the cold mountains for the hot desert.This past year I received a great opportunity to be able to work at my apartment complex, Vertex Apartments as a leasing consultant. This opportunity has been great for me because I have been able to experience an office environment as well as expand my knowledge on sales and marketing. To further my knowledge, I plan on doing an internship this summer.
