Comprehensive Plan- Germantown, TN | As the GIS lead on this project I created all non-infrastructure existing conditions maps and utilized InDesign for final formatting. Gathered resources from multiple organizations in order to source and enhance GIS layers. Developed GIS layers by leveraging historical data and other sources. I created the City’s first land use map on a parcel-by-parcel basis. Participated in research and analysis of existing conditions, city context, and city history. County Plan- Fairfield County, OH | Contributed to the plan by editing GIS maps, creating GIS layers, and performing analysis to determine the acreage of proposed future land use and developable land.Strategic Plan- Kettering, OH | Assisted in the development of the plan framework and the formatting of the plan document appendices. Created advertisement and community engagement materials and gathered and coded community input. Comprehensive Plan- University City, MO | Provided text and supported formatting of the plan document. Refined and created GIS maps. In addition to the aforementioned projects, I was tasked with providing support on other projects, using the skills detailed above. Also, I had the opportunity to participate in the facilitation of three community engagement events during my time at the company. County Fairgrounds Plan Douglas County, CO | Kicked off a master plan by producing and analyzing regional and site analysis maps and diagrams. Researched a variety of topics and developed a chapter narrative. Designed the layout of the plan document. Created visualizations for client meetings.East End Comprehensive County Plan, San Miguel County, CO | Created advertisement and community engagement materials. Participated in community engagement events. Created memos from community survey data coding and provided research summaries. Engaged in advisory group meetings. Parks and Recreation Diversity Study- Tempe, AZ | Developed investment maps and created cross-platform advertisement for community engagement events. Created memos from the results of community survey data coding and provided research summaries. In addition to these projects, I led a submission for the 2023 APA awards which involved developing the slide deck, creating supporting visualizations and collaborating on the narrative for the project. Also, assisted in marketing efforts through data collection and analysis, resulting in the firm’s proposal securing the bid. Supported a local municipality creating public facing forms and through evaluation of existing use requests.

Led the expansion of the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) by increasing access to 550 additional clients. Worked with Community Development leadership to secure $3 million in additional funding from Montgomery County. Directed potential beneficiaries and landlords towards ERAP path to ensure tenants remained housed. Collaborated with local extended stays to provide short-term shelter for those currently unhoused and those transitioning between housing. Ohio Conference of Community Development (OCCD) recognized our city’s ERAP success with the Community Development Department of the Year award. OCCD also recognized my work on ERAP with the Intern of the Year Award. Led the development of a much­‑needed utility assistance program with the City.

Worked with Community Development division to design the flow of work and assessment of the STAYPUT Emergency Rental Assistance Program. This aided 300+ clients and expended $1.3 million. Responsible for quickly and effectively resolving issues by providing accurate responses to the public as to both routine and technical matters, using independent judgment and initiative while maintaining confidentiality.Worked with the Planning/Zoning division on FEMA floodplain requests. Implemented warnings in Accela for parcels within the floodplain. Designed documents presented to FEMA in review of the designated open space parcels in Kettering’s floodplain.

Member of a multidisciplinary team through the University of Cincinnati, tasked with reaching out to employees to design the future of work for the contracted company. Collaborated with team to develop interview questions and owned reaching out to company employees to conduct interviews. Consulted with team members to analyze and compare interview responses and presented analysis results to corporate executives. NDA signed.

I owned and developed the design of Separated Spaces in a Healthy Home. I presented our research-backed insights, shifts, approach, perception, and education to the company.
