I am a recent graduate of the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Throughout my childhood, I had many different creative and athletic interests. I grew up in a dynamic, loud, hilarious home with three older siblings, in which we were all celebrated and given the room for developing our different interests and talents. I have continued to explore and expand my interests. From playing volleyball at my first college, North Lake Community College (now Dallas College) in Irving, Texas, to studying music, to writing short stories, curiosity and passion are things that I carry over into my education and professional pursuits as well.I started working as a cashier in my fathers' small business in high school, and since then I have continued to developed my customer service skills in other retail and sales opportunities. I have experience as a server, which I used to further build effective communication skills with customers as well as coworkers. My role as an assistant volleyball coach gave me experience working with children and tailoring my mentoring for my players and coworkers. I am a leader who others are not afraid to approach with questions or concerns, which allows me to help train players, new coworkers, resolve disputes, and elevate genuine relationships with clients and employees alike. I hope that my prior knowledge allows me to help other people and gain even more knowledge and experience.In the future, I want to use my compassion, experience, and talent for helping others as a licensed therapist. I am always looking for opportunities to grow and gain more experience in related fields!
