Hello! My name is Madison Ferreira and I am a 2019 graduate of the University of Rhode Island. I spent my four years of studies majoring in Communications & Media studies in the Harrington School. I obtained my cosmetology license in 2015 from the Newport Area Career and Technical center. While in attendance at URI, I was a part time hair stylist at Total Image Hair Salon & currently am the manager and stylist. I've also spend the last ten summers working at The Landing Restaurant in Newport, Rhode Island. I began a busser and have worked my way through hostessing and food running to now be a server.All of my passed/current employment has helped improve my skills in customer service, sales, communication, active listening, time management, problem solving, interpersonal skills, leadership and more. I strive to succeed!
