Hi! I’m Madison Gilbert, driven by a genuine passion for making a difference in the communities I am part of, both on campus and beyond. I am motivated by a desire to make a creative impact, always striving to think outside the box and bring fresh ideas to every project that I try to incorporate into my daily experience. In my first year, I participated in the First Year Integrated Core, working with a real client, Terrasmart, on a challenging project. This experience honed my skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration. I also gained practical knowledge in Python and SQL, which I’m eager to build on as I continue exploring the intersections of marketing and business. Building from these skills I developed in my first year of college, I was able to have an opportunity to have a summer internship for something I am passionate about. I worked with a wedding planning company, Engaged with Nora. I was able to showcase my creativity and design capabilities, while also developing marketing skills that allowed me to promote myself and display my growing professional skillset.I cannot wait to continue to further my education and build new skills to help for a successful time at Miami University and in my future career.
